Dillo has a great html checker in the bottom right corner. I found it fantastic for fixing my cock-ups!
Seamonkey has a built in HTML editor called Composer
HTML Dog has very clear guides and tutorials. I found the examples better than w3schools
and the site much less intrusive

I like dillo. But dillo.org has been squatted. Bastards As of December 2023, the host dillo.org is no longer under control of Dillo developers. A copy of the website from May 2022 is archived in the Wayback Machine.
One of the best thing about dillo is it's html checker or bug meter
